Hey What's up yall! It's been a long ass time but you know I have yall in my heart always. So many things are going on with me. I am working quitely on a new project that I am really excited about but I am unable to reveal the details. I really want to tell yall  but, my people behind the scenes will kill me if I say plus leagally my ass would be in trouble lol. What they did not say is that I can't give you a hint. What I will tell you is that I am branching off into new waters. It will be along the lines of entertainment, but it is a career change. Don't worry I will still be bring you the heat but in a different way. Can you guess what it is? If you think you know leave comments below. Let me see how good you are.

In the mean time what I can tell you is that there will be a lot of new and exciting changes from me for this coming year. Starting with the re-branding of my name...well the spelling that is. If you noticed on the home page on the website my name is no longer spelt "Ms. Alysha" and it is now "Miss Alysha." Reason....just cause I felt like changing it. As I have grown as a person and an artist I am at a place in my life where I am ready to be bold, ready to be fearless, ready to be me. For a long time in this business people told me the only way to make it in soca music...actually in music genarally, I have to be like this one and sing like this one and look like that one...you get the picture?

This year I have decided to TOTALLY go against the norm and do me. so I am doing a clensing this year. I will be working with new writers, producers, managers, EVERYTHING!!! I am really going to be hands-on with everything I do and not second guess myself, really do music from the heart and not the mind, so I started with the name and worked  myself down. No more wondering if....ehhh...ummmm....blah!!! I'm going to do what feels right. NO MORE SETTLING!! It is the only way I can have peace of mind and be happy doing what I do, and I know yall want that for me. So let me take the time to thank all of my family, friends and fans in advance for their love and support with this move I'm making. That is the kind of faith I am moving with now. Just knowing that yall have my back!!

I know I'm not blogging as many times like I promised amd I apologise for that, but as a very wise person told me, "WHEN YOU SPEAK LESS PEOPLE TEND TO VALUE YOUR WORDS MORE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO REAR!" I can come here and yap my ass off and BS and make up things and feed you lies....OR I can keep it real and be honest with you. I know which one you prefer. I will keep you "PLUGGED IN" as things progress....LOOK OUT FOR BIG NEWS!!!
